Pay attention to your members. I am still waiting for answer to my open (YOU SAID CLOSED) cases. I'm totalling a 300euro loss if this second case goes without any action!! What is the point of shopping in ebay when you do nothing to protect us? I contacted the thief seller I escalated the problem Then I saw the case in the CLOSED? I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN ANSWER!!!

The idea i just posted will not work buyers experience gone. There must be a better way of having a reserve in the auction. Without causing a problem with the buyers experience, or the sellers opportunity to have the best auction.

The reserve price should only be viewed by the seller and eBay, buyer only needs to know he has been outbid. Whatever the highest bid the buyer put will be the price it’s at, until the sellers bid is beat. Sellers don’t mind paying the reserve. What they do mind is the fact that buyers don’t bid on auctions with reserve. This would increase the amount of sellers using the reserve option. Thanks

eBay should devise up a feedback rating system, with respects to the price an auction ended at. For example blue-$50,red-$100,green-$150,purple-$200 So if the auction ended at 80 dollars, then in the feedback when a future buyer is doing a check of the seller, and the previous sales of the item. The buyer would only see the item and the red rating system, the buyer would not know what the item sold for in previous auctions. So if the auction is at 90 dollars, and previous identical items sold for 80 dollars, i don't really need to explain much more. I think if eBay would do this it would encourage people to bid now, not wait to see if he or she can get the better price this seller has sold the same item for in the past. In regards to the fixed price listings, i think they would also benefit from the feedback price rating system. Allot of time people are reluctant to buy it now thinking "I'm getting a good deal right?" the rating system will remove doubt . Feedback search should only show the item and the buyer doing the search can draw his own conclusions to price, if he is just checking the sellers credibility he will see the Ipod, sony camera, nikon camera, they automatically know the seller is good for an 80 dollar item that he is looking to bid on, why have the price? When a sellers list items eBay will automatically tell that seller the last 3-5 auctions $$ that have been successful in the past 30 days, eBay already has this, so why have the price in the feedback.? what is the purpose? I just think it does more harm than good. Prices change all year, currency dictates the final cost of items. Thanks you

Listings show shipping to but for Cyprus lots of the items don't have the shipping cost which means they don't ship to Cyprus. If there was a shipping category (column) we could click on it so the items not shipped to Cyprus would go to the bottom of the list and the ones that we can get would be at the top and easy to find. And that goes for other countries too as it's USA that doesn't ship out. How about it?

Couldn't get the Bug Report link to work. All of the custom icons on my toolbar disappeared. Finally got them back after disabling eBay Toolbar 0.4.1. Actually, I disabled all of my add-ons and re-enabled them until I found that eBay Toolbar was the one that made my custom icons disappear. As soon as it is disabled, the custom icons reappear.

I've heard a few other reports of this happening. Unfortunately, though I have nearly 30 extensions installed, I did not see this problem in my testing. I am currently investigating the problem and will have an update out soon.

In the meantime, I have taken down the broken version, and you can reinstall the previous version from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7657.

I want to apologize for the problems this bug has caused you. I have extended the suite of extensions I test against to prevent this problem from happening in the future.

Should be all fixed. This is actually a problem on eBay's end that has happened before. In doing the geo-location, they redirect to the wrong domain. Let me know if you're still seeing problems.

Update to support Firefox 3.5 release candidate. By simply unzipping the XPI and changing the install.rdf I was able to do this for myself, and it seems to work ok.

We can select countries but all the option (and the log) is for ebay.com. For me (I'm french) it's difficult to have all in english and the american and english options are useless, can't you change the links to help with that problem ?
